On Saturday, January 13th, 2024, the Cumberland City Police responded to the area of River Bend Court housing complex for a trespassing complaint. Upon arrival, officers located a subject on the property and identified him as Travell Teon Awkward, 29. It was learned that Awkward had been previously served with a no trespass order by the Cumberland Housing Alliance prohibiting him from being on the property. As a result, Awkward was placed under arrest. He was then issued a criminal citation for the offense and released, pending trial in District Court.
