President Trump continues to boast on “Beautiful Clean Coal,” investing over $600 million dollars in the coal industry including opening federal lands for mining, keeping coal plants open and other steps modernizing the industry. U.S. Energy Secretary Christopher Wright says that coal is critical and has a long future ahead…

   

“So we’re going to keep these coal plants open that have a long way to go.  We’re going to remove some of these burdensome regulations or even outright bans from exporting coal out of our country. Coal is by far the world’s largest source of electricity and will be for decades to come.”
