A quick hitting snow and ice storm has caused major traffic issues for local motorists.
Westbound Alternate 40 is said to be shutdown due to a number of acciddnts in the Clarysville area. We've been airing reports from listeners that indicate Interstate 68 east of Cumberland, on Martin's Mountain and Polish Mountain, are stop and slow go in both directions.
A disabled tractor trailer in the center lane is an obstacle on Westbound 68 at the 39 mile marker. A pair of trucks have slid toward the guide rail near the Clarysville Bridge.
