West Virginia Man Arrested On Bad Check Charges

On Friday,  at approximately 8:15 a.m., the Maryland State Police McHenry Barrack Criminal Investigation Division arrested Gary Lee Ravenscroft Jr (40 years old) of Fairmont, West Virginia on three criminal arrest warrants through Garrett County, MD and additional warrants through West Virginia. 

       The Maryland State Police McHenry Barrack Criminal Investigation Division is investigating three criminal investigations involving bad checks under $500, theft from $1,000 to under $10,000 and theft less than $1,000 involving two victims and one business from Garrett County involving the suspect, Gary Lee Ravenscroft Jr. 

      Gary Lee Ravenscroft Jr is charged with two counts of theft from $1,000 to under $10,000, and six counts of bad checks. 

      Gary Lee Ravenscroft Jr is being held at the Garrett County Jail on a $6,000 bond and is awaiting extradition from West Virginia.
