WCBC Radio and Oldies107FM experienced effects of severe thunderstorms in the area Thursday afternoon, losing power for nearly 15 hours. Trees were down and power knocked out in the Wills Mountain area after the 2PM storms, leaving nearly 20 businesses and hundreds of homes without power. Potomac Edison technicians were dispatched to the scene working through the night on the problem. Power has since been restored.
