On December 25, 2018, at approximately 1245am, The Cumberland City Police responded to the Circle K store on Oldtown Rd for the report of an armed robbery. Upon officer’s arrival on scene, it was learned that 2 black male suspects displayed a handgun to the sole clerk working at the time. The two suspects then demanded the clerk give them miscellaneous items from behind the counter, including an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspects then fled the area on foot. The two suspects are described as black males, in their 20’s or 30’s, and are possibly operating a dark in color SUV or Jeep. The Cumberland City Police are asking for your assistance in this matter. The place gets robbed so often, I always assume there must be a sign up sheet to keep everyone’s turn in order.
