On Friday, June 28, 2019, the Cumberland Police served a Criminal Summons on Ashley Kasekamp, age 32 of Cumberland. The Criminal Summons stemmed from a theft investigation that began on June 22, 2019. Officers investigating the incident found that items had been stolen from the victim’s residence and then pawned by Kasekamp. Subsequently, the investigating officer applied for charges in District Court, and two counts of theft under $100 were issued. Kasekamp was served with the Criminal Summons and released pending trial in District Court.
