CPD Makes Disorderly Conduct Arrests And Serve Arrest Warrant

On November 22nd, 2018, The Cumberland City Police Dept responded to a Elwood St residence for the report of a disturbance. Once on scene, officers contacted two individuals who both stated they had been involved in a verbal altercation inside the home. One of the individuals involved was identified as Travis Maurice Peck, Age 29, of Cumberland MD. During the officer’s investigation, Peck was told to and agreed to leave the residence and create no further disturbances. Peck then began to cause a disturbance outside the home with other subjects at the property. Peck was ordered multiple times to stop yelling and leave the property. Peck disobeyed multiple orders from Officers and continued his disruptive behaviors. As a result, he was placed under arrest and transported to the station. He was issued criminal citations for disorderly conduct and disturbing the peace and released pending trial in District Court.

Warrant Arrest

On November 22nd, 2018, Cumberland City Police served an arrest warrant on Jennifer Lynn Snyder, age 35, of Cumberland MD. Snyder was arrested on an outstanding arrest warrant stemming from an incident that occurred on November 12, 2018. During this incident, it is alleged that Snyder solicited a ride from the victim after she stood in traffic and flagged down the victim’s vehicle. The victim was unable to bypass Snyder as she was blocking the street. Once inside the victim’s vehicle, it is alleged that Snyder then assaulted and stole items from the victim before fleeing on foot. Snyder was taken before the District Court Commissioner where she was held without bond.

Charges: Robbery, 2nd Degree Assault, Theft $100-1500,

    Theft less than $100
