Cumberland Man Arrested in Disturbance Call

On April, 18, 2019 officers from the Cumberland City Police Department responded to 160 Bedford Street after information was received that David Joseph Snyder was currently violating a peace order by being inside the residence.  Upon the officer’s arrival, Snyder was observed walking around inside the residence.  Snyder who attempted to exit the residence by going out the side door was taken into custody.  Snyder who was recently served with the peace order by the Allegany County Sheriff’s Office, was advised that he was not allowed to be inside or around the residence located at 160 Bedford Street.  Snyder was transported to the Cumberland City Police Department for processing.  Snyder was processed, served and taken before the District Court Commissioner.  Snyder was held in the Allegany County Detention Center on $5,000 bond.

Charge: Violating a Peace Order.
