On January 27th, 2021 Officers served an Arrest Warrant and a Parole Retake Warrant, on Gary Ray Bookheimer Jr. The Arrest Warrant was issued by the District Court after an incident on January 22nd, 2021. During the incident officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop on Bookheimer, who refused to stop his vehicle, and continued to commit traffic offenses. Bookheimer’s vehicle was later located and a Search Warrant was conducted, locating a quantity of a controlled dangerous substance indicating distribution. The officer filed an application for charges at the District Court, and an Arrest Warrant for Bookheimer was granted. Officers were then able to locate Bookheimer and place him under arrest. Bookheimer was taken before a District Court Commissioner where he was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center without bail.
Arrest: Gary Ray Bookheimer Jr, age 57, Cumberland Maryland.
Charges: Two Counts of Possession with Intent to Distribute, Possession not Marijuana, Possession of Marijuana More than 10 Grams, Numerous Traffic Charges.
