Early Morning Home Invasion in Frostburg, Armed Suspects Still at Large

March 11th, 2021 by WCBC Radio

On Thursday, March 11 at 2:07 a.m., Frostburg City Police received a report of a home invasion robbery at a Maple Street residence. The caller, who had fled the residence to call
police, believed other victims were still being held at gunpoint inside. Frostburg City Police Officers responded and made entry into the home. Upon clearing the residence, officers discovered that the suspects were gone. Officers secured the scene and spoke with the victims. The victims reported that three male suspects forcibly entered the home and that two of these suspects displayed handguns. The suspects demanded that the victims give them money, while a suspect struck one victim several times. The suspects stole a small amount of marijuana and cell phones from the residence before fleeing. The victims described the suspects as one heavyset white male wearing a green mask, dark hooded sweatshirt, and dark pants; and two black male suspects with athletic builds, both wearing masks, dark hooded sweatshirts, and dark pants. The C3I Criminal Investigation Unit responded to the scene and will conduct the follow-up investigation. Frostburg City Police Officers were also assisted by Frostburg State University Police and the Allegany County Sheriff’s Office. Police believe this location was specifically targeted by the suspects and that this was not a
random home invasion incident.
