A Hampshire County man has died from injuries he sustained in a two-vehicle crash on U.S. Route 220 in Old Fields on Tuesday, according to the Hardy County Sheriff's Office.
The victim was identified as 22-year-old Heath J. Baker of Purgitsville.
Moorefield Volunteer Fire Department, Fraley Ambulance Service, the West Virginia Division of Highways and the West Virginia Public Service Commission assisted police in the investigation.
No other injuries were reported the cause remains under investigation.
