The Hidden Predator Act of 2020 received a hearing in the Maryland House Judiciary Committee recently.
The act addresses the sexual abuse of minors and would allow victims who had been prohibited by the statue of limitations to file civil claims for past offenses during a two year period beginning October 1st of this year.
