Edward Norton is voicing ads supporting the "Don't Frack Maryland" campaign.
In a radio ad, Norton urges listeners not to let Governor Larry Hogan ignore health and environmental risks that may be caused by the drilling method.
Norton grew up in Columbia, Maryland.
The Senate voted Monday 45-2 in favor of a bill which puts a two year moratorium on the practice. The House wants a three year delay.
