On Saturday, Cumberland Police served an arrest warrant on 31 year old Destinie Brooke Smith, of LaVale, charging her with fourth degree burglary and CDS possession.
The warrant was issued by District Court in reference to an incident on June 11, 2020 when officers located Smith inside a vacant First Street residence that she had entered unlawfully. At that time, she was also found to be in possession of a quantity of suspected cocaine and CDS paraphernalia.
Smith was taken before the District Court Commissioner and was released on her own personal recognizance pending trial.
