The Cumberland Times News reports a  new manufacturing facility at Allegany Ballistics Laboratory is on track to begin production in January. Insensitive munitions rocket motors will be built inside the 50,000-square-foot, $50 million Large Tactical Motor Manufacturing Facility. “We are very proud. This gives us the capacity we think we need for the future, with room for growth,” Pat Nolan, vice president and general manager of Northrop Grumman, said during a tour of the facility on Tuesday. “It’s in addition to the work we are already doing here.”  Northrop Grumman and the U.S. Navy shared facility costs.
