Repair work continues on the Fayette Street Bridge with the goal being to have it reopened to single lane traffic by the end of next month. The Fayette Street Bridge is one of three West Side bridges which span CSX railroad lines that have been closed for well over a year. Bridges on Cumberland and Washington streets have also been closed.
