The City of Cumberland Engineering Department would like to notify the public beginning October 18, 2018 for approximately 3 weeks, Valley RD will be closed to traffic from Fairview Avenue to Forest Avenue. This closure will allow the City's contractor Carl Belt, Inc and its subcontractor S&S Electric to install steel beams and cribbing to support the roadside. There will be a detour in place for all traffic during the closure. The detour will be Henderson Ave to Frederick Street to Pea Vine Road. Please use caution in the area and follow all traffic control that will be in place during the closure.
