Potomac Edison crews were busy most of the evening Saturday into Sunday restoring power to communities hit by lines of severe thunderstorms which moved through our area.
In Allegany County, most of Oldtown and over half of Little Orleans were affected by the outages. Over 300 were affected in the Hancock area of Washington County.
There were other pockets of PE customers without electric throughout the region, including several dozen in Cumberland and Corriganville, and similar numbers in Hampshire, Mineral, Morgan, Hardy and Grant Counties.
