Two inmates were taken to the hospital Monday afternoon after being cut during a fight at Western Correctional Institution.
The men began fighting in the lobby of a housing unit around 2:30 Monday afternoon.
Correctional officers immediately intervened and called medical staff, who determined that both inmates needed outside treatment.
No correctional officers were injured.
We do not have a condition report on the inmates or further information on the weapon(s) at this time.
