Vote On Felon Participation Postponed Again

February 7th, 2016 by WCBC Radio

The Maryland State Senate has again postponed a vote on overriding a Larry Hogan veto of a bill that would allow convicted felons to vote before their probationary period is up.

The first delay was to wait for a vacant Montgomery County seat to be filled, and on Friday, two Senate Democrats were missing on Friday, meaning there weren't enough votes.

The vote is expected to go strictly along party lines.
