Although we are now Frankfort fans as we have been and will be as our grand children are Frankfort District students I am an old Alco grad and our children are Alco grads We listened to the Alco football game tonight against FH and were sorely disappointed in what is supposed to be the Alco broadcasting team. We are disciples of the Jack Fleming, Myron Cope, Tony Caridi School of Broadcasting – which is Biased Broadcasting – the only form of broadcasting that serves the fan base and embodies loyalty and enthusiasm- in this case for Allegany- in every play – in every call. The CBC Alco Broadcast team should take a cue from the Frankfort Broadcast- which is biased- and be the ignition for a renewed support and fan spirit for this young Allegany football team which over the next several years may have the opportunity to achieve championship level. Moreover, the Broadcast team may want to mention that FH football’s high number of participants are aided and abetted by cross district busing through Cresaptown which is highly questionable given the new 53M Alco is not at capacity. Good luck at Mt Ridge.
