BREAKING: Twigg Named Circuit Judge

Maryland Governor Larry Hogan has named Allegany County State's Attprney Michael Twigg as Circuit Court Judge, replacing the retired Timothy Finan.

Michael Twigg has served as Allegany County State’s Attorney since 2003, having worked in that office since 1997. Prior to that, he worked as a paralegal for Hazel and Thomas and in the specialist homicide section of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia.

Twigg obtained a B.A in political science from The Citadel and a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center.
