Allegany County Government has awarded emergency funding for small businesses here in response to the economic crisis created by COVID-19. County Commissioners President Jake Shade told WCBC News the funding was approved during the March 26 meeting, and the county moved quickly to get the money to the businesses…
Shade said the money is to act as a bridge between now and when federal and state dollars arrive in larger amounts.
