Cumberland Man Arrested on Protective Order Violation

April 16th, 2020 by WCBC Radio

On Wednesday, April 15th, 2020 the Cumberland Police Department responded to a Lafayette Street residence for the report of a male that had violated a protective order.  When officers arrived, contact was made with a female complainant who told officers that when she was not at home, William Scott Judge entered her residence and took food from her refrigerator.  The victim told officers that she had an active protective order issued by District Court that prohibits Judge from being at her residence.  Officers then made contact with Judge at his residence who admitted to officers that he entered the victim’s residence because he was hungry.  Officers confirmed that the protective order was still active and Judge was arrested.  He was charged with violating the protective order and was taken before the District Court Commissioner.  Judge was released on his own personal recognizance pending trial.

William Scott Judge, age; 53, Cumberland, Maryland.
