April 10th, 2021 by WCBC Radio

On Friday, April 9th, 2021 the Cumberland Police Department served an arrest warrant on John Adam Snyder charging him with violating a protective order, trespassing, burglary, malicious destruction of property, and disturbing the peace.

The warrant was issued by District Court in reference to an incident that took place back on March 11th, 2021 when officers responded to a Columbia Street residence for the report that Snyder had broken into the complainant’s residence and destroyed property.

At the time of the incident, there was an active protective order filed by the complainant that prohibited Snyder from contacting the complainant or entering the residence. When officers arrived, Snyder had already fled the scene.

He was taken before the District Court Commissioner and was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center held on a $5,000 bond.

John Adam Snyder, age; 45, Cumberland, Maryland.
