Delegates to Resign to Take Positions in Baltimore County

WBAL Radio is reporting that two Baltimore County Democratic delegates will resign early next month to take positions in county government.

Eric Bromwell will develop the county's opioid strategy, while Steve Lafferty will become County Executive John Olszewski, Junior's chief sustainability officer.

Bromwell was the vice chairman of the House Economic Matters Committee.  Lafferty has focuses on land use and environmental legislation.

Governor Larry Hogan will appoint replacements after receiving recommendations from the Democratic Central Committee.
