Destruction of Property Complaint

The Cumberland Police Department is investigating a destruction of property complaint to a vehicle that occurred in the early morning hours of December 12th.  The vehicle was parked in the parking lot of a business located in the 800 block of N. Mechanic Street.  A male subject was causing a problem early in Deter’s Lounge and may be the same subject that caused damage to the vehicle.  Anyone with any information about the damage to the vehicle or the subject that was asked to leave is encouraged to contact the Cumberland Police Department (301)777-1600 or the Allegany/Mineral County Crime Solvers (877)722-4307.

 

 

 

At approximately 459am officers were dispatched to a disturbance at a Blaul Avenue residence.  Officers arrived making contact with a male subject outside in the street.  Upon entering the residence officers contacted a female who had visible signs of injury to her person.  The officers conducted their investigation speaking with both parties and at the conclusion of the investigation they placed Travis Robert Hedrick under arrest for assault.  He was transported to Police Headquarters for processing.  Hedrick was later taken before the District Court Commissioner where he was released pending trial.

The Cumberland Police Department served a bench warrant for violation of probation on Patricia Rosetta Grahame.  She was taken before the District Court Commissioner for her initial appearance.  Grahame remanded to the custody of the Allegany County Detention Center on a $500.00 bond.
