On October, 29, 2021, the Cumberland Police Department responded to a residence in the 700 block of Bedford Street after receiving information that Kymani Isaiah Tillery of Hallandale Beach, Florida was staying at the residence. Prior to responding to the residence, Officers confirmed that Tillery had five outstanding Arrest Warrants in Allegany County. Three Arrest Warrants for Violation of Probation, one Arrest Warrant for Failing to Comply with a Peace Order and one Arrest Warrant for six counts of Child Pornography. Officers also confirmed the Tillery had an extraditable Arrest Warrant out of Broward County, Florida for Robbery and Armed Carjacking.
Upon arrival to the residence, Officers made contact with Tillery who provided a false name and birth date to avoid identification. After Tillery’s identity was confirmed, he admitted that he lied to police about his identity and admitted to knowing about the outstanding Arrest Warrants. Tillery was placed under arrest for the outstanding Arrest Warrants and served with an addition charge of providing false identification to avoid prosecution.
Tillery was taken to the District Court Commissioner for his initial appearance where he was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center held without bond. Tillery is awaiting extradition to Broward County, Florida for the charges of Robbery and Armed Carjacking.

Charges: Violation of Probation (3X), Fail to Comply with Peace Order, 6 counts of Child Pornography, and Providing False Identification to Avoid Prosecution.
