The Cumberland Times News reports first-responders were dispatched to the 12000 block of Bittinger Road late Friday morning when a tractor-trailer reportedly traveled off the roadway and struck a residence. Garrett County 911 emergency center alerted units at about 11:30 a.m.
The Allegany County Collapse Team was also called to the scene due to damage to the structure.
The rig was reportedly resting against the dwelling and the trailer was partially on the roadway when units were dispatched to the scene.
Maryland State Police also responded.
In a separate incident, at 12:10 p.m., the Garrett County 911 Center dispatched first-responders to the Herrington Manor Road area of Oakland where a vehicle reportedly traveled out of control and overturned.
