With COVID-19 cases continuing to steadily decline in West Virginia- Governor Jim Justice on Wednesday announced that he has signed an executive order requiring mandatory testing at every assisted living facility in the state and all staff at day care facilities statewide. This follows a recent order to test every resident and staff member at every nursing home in West Virginia. The order topped a list of COVID-19 updates provided by the governor in what has become a daily media briefing. Aside from the mandated testing, Justice said that targeted testing will be conducted in African American communities. On the fiscal side of things, Justice said that with the state on the verge of receiving another federal stimulus package, he is planning on targeting that funding toward those on the frontlines…
