There will not be a Memorial Day Program at Rocky Gap Veterans Cemetery due to the late date COVID restrictions were lifted with little time to put together an event.
There will be a small program at the Gulf War Veterans Memorial near Union Street at 11 AM Monday, and the WCBC Memorial Day Program on air at 2:00 PM.
WCBC's Chris Myers will again be participating in Taps Across America, performing Taps on his bugle at 3:00 PM at the corner of Baltimore and South Liberty Street.
We ask that all of our listeners participate in a moment of silence to remember those who made the supreme sacrifice in the defense of the United States of America and freedom.
