Officers responded to the Sunoco gas .station on Industrial Blvd. for a report of a strong armed robbery.  Prior to the officers arrival the suspects left the area in a vehicle heading W/B on Industrial Blvd.  An officer observed the suspect vehicle and stopped it at the intersection of Virginia Ave.  He contacted the operator who was identified as Karl Stovall Chambers Jr.  along with two other occupants in the vehicle as Jason Arthur McCray and Bruce Satterfield Jr.  They advised that had gotten into an argument with the attendant of how much money they gave him for gas.  They stated that they gave him $40 for fuel and he only pumped $20 in their vehicle.  Officers arrived at the gas station and talked with the victim.  He advised that the subject identified as Jason McCray gave him $20 for fuel that he then pumped into the vehicle.  He stated that McCray then exited the vehicle to argue with him that he had given him $40 for fuel not the $20 that he pumped.  The attendant then turned to get the manager when he was struck in his ear area by McCray.  During this time the other occupants exited the vehicle and began to assault the attendant.  McCray then returned back to the vehicle and pumped an additional $11.50 worth of gas before all three left in the vehicle.  A witness to the incident advised of the same version to incident as the attendant gave.  As the officer where on the traffic stop it was learned that the vehicle was a rental car and that none of the occupants were on the rental agreement.  The renter observed the vehicle on the traffic stop and advised officers that nobody except the co-renter had permission to be in possession of the vehicle.  The co-renter was contacted and advised that she gave nobody permission to have possession of the vehicle.  At this time all three subjects were placed under arrest and transported to PH where they were charged and processed.

 

Karl Stoval Chambers              Age: 20                    Braddish Ave., Baltimore, MD.

Charges: Robbery, Theft less than $100, M/V theft

Chambers was held in the ACDC on a $50000 Bond.

 

Jason Arthur McCray              Age: 28               McElderry St., Baltimore, MD.

Charges: Robbery, Assault 2^nd Degree, Theft less than $100, M/V theft

McCray was held in the ACDC on a $65000 Bond.

 

Bruce Satterfield                      Age: 31               Belmont Ave., Baltimore, MD.

Charges: Robbery, Theft Less than $100

Satterfield was held in the ACDC without Bond.
