Salem’s Children’s Trust annual Banquet upcoming

September 8th, 2015 by WCBC Radio

Maryland Salem Children’s Trust, located on Lower New Germany Road, Frostburg Maryland is anticipating their 20th Annual OutSpokin’ For Kids Banquet on September 26th, 2015. The event will be held at the Bittinger Mennonite Church Center in Bittinger, Maryland.  This fundraiser banquet celebrates Salem’s 37 years as a non-profit, providing a home, family, counseling and an education to children who have been abused, neglected and behaviorally challenged.

This year, Outspokin’ will highlight the work of Salem Children’s Trust over the years and the impact they have made for children throughout the state of Maryland.  Delicious home-style meal choices of roast beef or a vegetarian entrée will be served with all of the fixings.

In addition, The Twentieth Annual OutSpokin’ For Kids Dinner and Silent Auction will once again offer top quality auction items donated by local artisans and merchants.  A variety of gift baskets highlight the silent auction, including but not limited to a movie night basket, car detailing basket, date night basket, and many more!  All proceeds from the event and auction will benefit the children at Salem.

The Maryland Salem Children’s Trust would like to thank their Lead Sponsor,  AES Warrior Run,  and Platinum Sponsors, The Nancy and Glenn Beall Foundation, Foreman Financial Group, and Cornerstone Baptist Church, for their support of the this year’s event.  A full list of sponsors will be featured at the event, as well as online and in Salem’s next newsletter.  Outspokin’ for Kids is still in need of more sponsorships and silent auction donations in order to raise the needed funds to provide a high level of quality care to the children within the program.
