Frostburg State men's wrestling program headed South on Saturday to compete in the Carolina Clash, hosted by Lander University. The Bobcats went 0-4 on the day, coming away with 18 team points. On Saturday, December 2nd, 2023, The Cumberland City Police responded to a business in the 400 block of Maryland Ave for the report of an assault. Upon arrival, officers contacted the victim of the alleged assault. They stated they had been punched by another patron in the store while attempting to check out. On Saturday, December 2nd, 2023, The Cumberland City Police arrested Brandon Marshal Ridgeley, 45, and Christopher Michael Emerson, 34, both of Cumberland MD. Both were served a Criminal Summons in reference to an incident that occurred on November 29th, at a residence in the 400 block of Arch St. During that incident, it is alleged that both Ridgeley and Emerson had broken into a vacant apartment building and used it as a temporary residence.
