On Wednesday August 28, 2019, the Cumberland Police served Criminal Summons’s on Kimberly Crossland, age 41, of Cumberland, and Richard Oliver, age 54, of Cumberland. The Summons’s stemmed from an altercation between Oliver, Crossland, and the victim on August 26, 2019. Subsequently, the victim applied for charges in District Court on both Crossland and Oliver. A Summons was then issued charging Oliver with two counts of 2nd Degree assault and Crossland with one count of 2nd Degree Assault. They were both served with their Summonses and released pending trial in District Court
