NWS Posts Advisory for Possible Ice

WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 2 AM TO 2 PM EST
SUNDAY...

* WHAT...Mixed precipitation expected. Total snow accumulations of
  up to one inch and ice accumulations of a light glaze up to
  five-hundredths of an inch.

* WHERE...Portions of north central and western Maryland,
  northern, northwest and western Virginia and eastern and
  panhandle West Virginia. This also includes the Northern
  Virginia Blue Ridge Mountains. The main threat for accumulating
  ice in these locations will be at elevations of one-thousand
  feet and above.

* WHEN...From 2 AM to 2 PM EST Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Travel may be
  hazardous on untreated road surfaces.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Slow down and use caution while traveling.

When venturing outside, watch your first few steps taken on
steps, sidewalks, and driveways, which could be icy and slippery,
increasing your risk of a fall and injury.
