Statewide mask distribution getting underway in MD

August 5th, 2020 by WCBC Radio

The Maryland Department of Health will distribute free masks at various COVID-19 test sites throughout the summer.  The free mask events are part of the “Mask on Maryland” campaign-  an initiative to encourage all Marylanders to wear face coverings in public places to help prevent contracting and spreading covid-19.  Marylanders will receive a package of five reusable masks and information on the importance of using them. The Maryland Department of Health and local partners will host masks on Maryland free mask giveaways throughout the summer and possibly into the fall, while supplies are available.  Interim Deputy Secretary for Public Health Services With the Maryland Department of Health Jinlene Chan

There is a testing site in Oakland at Garrett Regional Medical Center, that is if you don’t adhere to “stay in place” to any degree. Is it not a shame that the more populous area of the region DOES NOT have a state designated testing facility? Makes one ponder, are the powers that be (senator, representatives, county commissioners) skewing/suppressing the numbers?(“SLOW THE TESTING DOWN”-TRAITOR TRUMP). Don’t allow the public access to critical information, that will save the lives of our family, friends, neighbors. As recently stated by the inept, deranged, narcissistic, moron “IT IS WHAT IT IS”
