Maryland Department of Health announces open application period for Maryland Primary Care Program
The Maryland Department of Health, in partnership with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, is now accepting applications from eligible Maryland primary care practices, Federally Qualified Health Centers, and Care Transformation Organizations for participation in the Maryland Primary Care Program beginning January 1, 2024. Traffic stop leads to Bunch Warrant arrest of Mount Savage Man
On Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at approximately 12:57 AM, an officer of the Cumberland Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle traveling on W. First Street and identified the operator as Thomas Scott. The officer learned that Scott had an active bench warrant for his arrest. The warrant was issued as the result of Scott failing to appear for court on June 5, 2023. He was originally charged with driving without a license. On Tuesday, June 6, 2023, the Cumberland Police Department served a Frederick County District Court bench warrant on Heather Sager. The warrant was issued as the result of Sager failing to appear for court on March 7, 2017. She was originally charged with CDS: Possess-Not Marijuana, Possess Contraband-Place of Confinement, CDS Admin Equip Poss/Dist. Sager was arrested and transported to Central Booking.
