Allegany County Emergency services along with EMS responding Interstate 68 westbound, mile marker 50 near the Rocky Gap Casino motor vehicle accident just before the exit 50 ramp. Law Enforcement and emergency crews on scene. One adult patient transported to UPMC for treatment with minor injuries. Four children were in the car they were also transported to UPMC for evaluation,no report of any serious injuries. Law enforcement investigating the motor vehicle crash, a tow truck has been dispatched to remove the vehicle from the roadway.
Maryland Senate Bill 1187 was introduced Friday morning as emergency legislation to expedite the rebuilding of the Key Bridge in Baltimore. On Sunday, March 31, 2024, the Cumberland Police Department served a bench warrant on Mikayla Holliday. The warrant was issued as the result of Holliday failing to appear in court. She was originally charged with Theft less than $100. Holliday was arrested and transported to Central Booking.
