Former Allegany County Board of Education member Ed Root tells WCBC News that he agrees with the board’s decision last week in naming Jeff Blank permanent superintendent. The decision to dispense with a formal search was not without controversy- as the action was approved with just three votes with two members choosing to abstain- voicing concerns with the process.
