On Sunday, August 21st, 2016, Officers from Cumberland City Police Department were dispatched to the area of Second Street and Virginia Ave for a large disturbance. Upon their arrival they heard several subjects screaming for help from a nearby residence. Officers made contact with suspect Daniel Ryan Woolard at that location who was assaulting a female. Woolard was placed under arrest at which time the Officers made contact with a total of five victims including an infant. It was found Woolard had assaulted all five subjects by spraying them with bear spray (OC spray). The victims were treated by CFD and transported to the hospital. Woolard was processed and charged with a total of nineteen offenses. He was held on $750,000.00.
