Man Threatens Cops And It Ends With Arrest

Saturday afternoon at around 3:00 PM, Cumberland Police received several calls from Johnny Schriner Sr. stating he was going to assault the first officer he saw.

Schriner provided his location and officers responded to the Western Maryland Train Station. Officers approached Schriner who was yelling and causing a disturbance. There were many bystanders in the area and he refused to lower his voice.

Schriner was placed under arrest as a result of the disturbance. After being placed under arrest officers learned Schriner was currently wanted for assault. Mr. Schriner was issued a criminal citation for disorderly conduct and taken before a District Court Commissioner for the warrant. He was released on his personal recognizance.

Arrested – Johnny Lee Schriner Sr – (71) Cumberland, MD

Charges – Disorderly Conduct and Second Degree Assault
