Bishop Walsh School has announced that Ben Hendershot will be the new head basketball coach. Hendershot is a 2003 graduate of Bishop Walsh and lettered in basketball, football, and baseball. He is a graduate of Frostburg State University and holds a master’s degree in social work from West Virginia University. Hendershot is a licensed social worker at the Allegany County Health Department. He succeeds Carl Watson, who remains at Bishop Walsh as a math instructor and assistant athletic director.
