Officers responded to the Sheetz store on Virginia Ave. for a report of a theft. Upon the officers arrival they made contact with the manager who advised that she observed a subject enter the store pushing a child in a stroller. They observed the subject walk around the store and place a soda in her sweater and a brownie was hidden in the child’s lap under a coat. The subject then left the store when she was contacted by employees and asked to come back in the store in which she did. The items were located by store personnel and had a total value of $3.69. The suspect was identified as Heather Lynn Palacios who was placed under arrest. The manager advised that she recognized the suspect from another theft that occurred on the 3rd. Video from this incident was reviewed and showed Palacios place $5.89 worth of candy in her purse. Palacios was searched incident to arrest and three Tramadol pills were located in her purse inside of a pill bottle not labeled for them. Palacios was transported to PH where she was charged and processed.

Charges: 2 cts. Theft under $100, Possession of CDS
Palacios was taken for a Bond Hearing and held in the ACDC on a $1500 Bond.
